BLOOMINGTON – Epiphany Farms in Bloomington is now an official Illinois Maker.
It’s part of the Illinois Made program launched by the state Department of Tourism last year, which celebrates artisans, products and experiences unique to the state. Epiphany Farms Enterprise President Ken Myszka said being an Illinois Maker should help the business continue to grow.
“I think that just getting the word out to people is the most important thing,” said Myszka. “So anytime we can have a production, or a video, or something that goes on the social sites it’s great for our business.”
Department of Tourism director Cory Jobe said small businesses like Epiphany Farms are what are driving the state’s economy.
“What better way as a state tourism office, but to highlight their passion and their craft,” said Jobe. “Because we know the visitor is wanting that type of unique, authentic experience to purchase and take back home.”
Each Illinois Maker is featured in a video series. To see the feature on Epiphany Farms, go to www.EnjoyIllinois.com/Illinoismade.
