NORMAL – Heartland Community College is offering new “face-to-face” agriculture courses this fall.
“They’re all introductory level courses designed to transfer to a university,” Instructional Chair of Science Lauren Denofrio-Corrales said.
The five courses are designed to help students get practical experience and networking opportunities with people in the agriculture field.
“We’re talking small class sizes with a maximum cap of 30 seats in the section, working with instructors who have the practical experience and knowledge of the agriculture field,” Denofrio-Corrales said.
Denofrio-Corrales said the first classes this fall are almost full.
