BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) — A performance that will blend medieval and modern fighting will come to Bloomington next month.
ARMORED MMA, which features fully armored athletes fighting inside a mixed martial arts cage, will be performing at the Grossinger Motors Arena on Aug. 15, said Gina Volk, the Bloomington Arts & Entertainment spokesperson.
“Inside the cage, fighters use striking, grappling, takedowns, and ground control in a fast-paced, full-contact competition that transforms medieval warfare into an adrenaline-fueled modern sport,” Volk said.
She said the performance is great for MMA enthusiasts, those interested in medieval history, or anyone who wants an unforgettable night of live entertainment.
Tickets are currently on sale on the Grossinger Motors Arena’s website.
