BLOOMINGTON – The second installment of McLean County property tax is due on Wednesday.
Payments can be made at the McLean County treasurer’s office and at many local banks. Online options are available. Payments made by mail must be postmarked by September 1 to be considered on time. Delinquent taxes are assessed a penalty of one and a half percent per month.
More information is on the county web site, mcleancountyil.gov, as well as at the county treasurer’s office. Questions about assessments, exemptions or address changes should be directed to the McLean County Supervisor of Assessments office.
