BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington cemetery is off limits for Pokémon Go players.
East Lawn Memorial Gardens has issued a news release asking the public to stay off cemetery grounds to play the mobile app game. General manager Jim Hough said while the cemetery has been identified as a hot spot for the Pokémon Go game, the property is privately owned and it meant to be a quiet, serene space designed to serve as a final resting place and a place for families to honor loved ones.
East Lawn property was damaged in March when attendees to a Donald Trump rally parked their cars on the cemetery’s wet grounds.
