SPRINGFIELD – Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan said theater fans hoping to get tickets to the hottest musicals of the year could hit a sour note.
Websites are promising the inside track to big shows like “Hamilton” and “Aladdin” before they go on sale to the general public. The shows are headed to Chicago and are expected to be quick sell outs.
Madigan warns so-called “speculative tickets” from sellers or resellers could be bad seats, or worse, fakes.
