WASHINGTON – Another legal setback for former Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
The U.S. Supreme Court has determined it won’t reconsider its March decision to reject former Blagojevich’s appeal of his corruption convictions. The justices did not offer comment on the long shot petition.
Blagojevich attorneys challenged an appeals court ruling that claimed Blagojevich ran afoul of the law when he sought money in exchange for naming someone to fill the vacant Senate seat once occupied by President Barack Obama.
