NORMAL – Residents of a six-unit apartment building in Normal were displaced by fire on Monday.
No one was injured in the blaze at 808 S. Linden St. It broke out at about 6 p.m. Monday. Residents of the unit where the fire started weren’t home when the fire broke out. Fire crews had the blaze out in about 20 minutes.
Two units on the third floor sustained heavy smoke damage and lesser damages to the first two floors.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
