Bloomington woman dead after being struck by bus

BLOOMINGTON- A pedestrian who was struck by a bus early Saturday morning has been identified as an 18-year-old from Bloomington. Keionta L. Williams was pronounced deceased at 3:52 a.m. Saturday morning.

The accident happened on I-39 near the Kappa/Lake Bloomington exit. Hudson Fire and Rescue, El Paso Ambulance, and Illinois State Police responded to the accident. McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis said that an autopsy on Williams revealed that she died of multiple blunt force injuries due to being struck by the bus. Davis said toxicology results are pending.

The McLean County Coroner and Illinois State Police continue to investigate.
