Woman killed in interstate crash

BLOOMINGTON- State Police, along with McLean County Sheriff’s and the McLean County Coroners Office are investigating a crash last night that killed a 49 year old woman.

The identity of the woman is being held pending family notification. The crash occured on the south bound lane of US-51 and I-74 on the southern end of Bloomington.

According to McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis, her office was notified of the single vehicle crash at 7:22 last night. Several emergency agencies responded to the crash.

A male who was also in the vehicle was treated at a local hospital, and his condition is unknown. An autospy for the woman is scheduled for later today.
