PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — As storms start to pick up in the area, so are the number of power outages in Central Illinois.
While a majority of the power outages are just east of the coverage area, Warren and Henderson counties, a few outages are popping up in the area, according to the Ameren Illinois Power Outage Map.
Woodford County is seeing the most outages in the area, with 4,706 Ameren customers, roughly 17% of the county, currently without power as of 10:04 a.m., the map said.
In Peoria County, approximately 930 Ameren customers are without power.
