PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — Six people, including one juvenile, were arrested Saturday after an incident at the Peoria Civic Center during graduation.
The six were arrested on numerous charges, including aggravated battery, aggravated assault and resisting police, said Peoria Police Sgt. Amy Dotson.
She said no significant injuries were reported.
Peoria Public Schools held graduation ceremonies throughout Saturday for Peoria High School, Manual High School and Richwoods High School.
Dotson said the incident happened when one graduation was leaving and the other was arriving.
