BLOOMINGTON – In addition to the regular season, the Bloomington Thunder will take part in six preseason games prior to their home opener against the Waterloo Black Hawks on Sept. 25 at 7 p.m.
Included in the schedule is the organization’s first home preseason game on Sept. 9 against the Muskegon Lumberjacks at 7 p.m.
Bloomington hits the road for their five remaining preseason games, making stops in Muskegon, Green Bay, and Madison leading up to the regular season. Below you can find the full preseason schedule:
The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, Green Bay Gamblers, Madison Capitols, and both of the United States National Team Development Program teams (U17 & U18) will join Bloomington from Sept. 11 through Sept. 13. Then the Thunder will be joined again the following weekend on Sept. 19 and 20 by the Gamblers and Capitols. Also appearing that weekend will be the Chicago Steel in their first preseason action of the 2015-16 season.
A total of five venues will host preseason games leading up to the USHL’s opening weekend. The Green Bay Gamblers, Lincoln Stars, Madison Capitols, and Waterloo Black Hawks will help centralize the USHL’s preseason games and an extra venue in Pittsburgh, PA will host a weekend in connection with the Youngstown Phantoms.
