BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) — Some drivers in Bloomington can expect some construction-related delays starting on Thursday.
Asphalt binder operations are expected to impact parts of Oakland Avenue, Prospect Road, and Washington Street, a Bloomington Engineering Department news release said.
The work is expected to start on Oakland Avenue from Eldorado Road to Hershey Road. Then Impact Prospect Road, from Oakland Avenue to Empire Street. Finally, the work will impact Washington Street from Krispy Kreme Drive to Hershey Road.
Some intersections will be temporarily closed for proper asphalt installation.
Drivers should expect delays in these areas and find alternate routes if possible.
The roadways will fully reopen when work is complete.
