BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) — Buildings in downtown Bloomington were torn down weeks ago to build new parking spaces for residents and visitors.
The buildings torn down were on the corner of West Washington Street and North Madison Street, across the street from the old Pantagraph building. Buildings across the corner from the old Pantagraph building were also demolished.

Roads are expected to stay open during the build, but the sidewalks surrounding are closed until construction is finished.

There is no expected date for completion as of now.
