NORMAL, Ill. (WMBD) — Rader Family Farms cut the ribbon to its annual corn maze, in celebration with Country Financial’s 100th anniversary.
“As we celebrate our hundredth anniversary throughout 2025, this was the perfect spot for us to reconnect to our roots,” said Jim Jacobs, CEO of Country Financial.
Since the company began its business by insuring farmers, it wanted to return to its roots and partner with Rader Farms on this year’s corn maze.
“Our company’s vision is to enrich lives in the communities we serve. And this combination with Ryder Family Farms will be a perfect example of living our vision,” Jacobs said.

The maze features the company’s name at the top, where the first part of the maze happens, and two farmers shaking hands towards the bottom, where the second part happens.
100 years in business is a great accomplishment for any business, so the company is extremely proud to have thrived for as long as they have.

“1% of companies that start will be in existence for 100 years. Then when you think about what’s happened in this country over the last hundred years and the fact that Country was able to work alongside with clients over that hundred years grow, helped clients plan throughout their lives and protect what they have,” he said.
Rader Farms will officially open its doors on Saturday, Sept. 13, and will feature many brand-new attractions this year. They include a new pick yourself apple orchard, paintball, a zip line, mini golf, and much more.
