BLOOMINGTON – A 20-year leader of the Bloomington-Normal Area Convention and Visitors’ Bureau Board of Directors has resigned.
Now former President and Chief Executive Officer Crystal Howard leaves the post at the end of the month.
Leaders from the visitor’s bureau said Howard led the county through immense economic growth and change in the community.
In the meantime, an interim director will be named, and the visitors bureau plans to launch a national search in the fall.
