NORMAL – Several streets will be closed early Saturday around Uptown Normal for Rivian’s community event to show off some of its new vehicles.
The Town of Normal says the following streets and parking areas will close at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 6 in preparation for the event:
- Constitution Boulevard from College Avenue to Uptown Circle
- All of Uptown Circle
- All entrances/exits to Uptown Circle
Those streets will reopen following the event around 3 p.m.
Rivian’s event runs from 10am-2pm on Saturday featuring the R2, R3 and R3X models on display. Visitors can get an exclusive look at the new vehicles and talk with specialists about their features, specs and more. R1T and R1S demo drives will be available on a first come, first served basis. This event is free and open to the public.
