BLOOMINGTON – Hospital capacity in McLean County remains high as local health officials Wednesday reported three more COVID-related deaths.
According to the McLean County Health Department, local hospitals are reporting 88% of ICU beds and 97% of total beds in use. As of Wednesday, there are 22 McLean County residents in the hospital due to COVID.
“It is important to remember that this number does not represent all persons currently hospitalized for COVID-19 or for other treatment and care,” said MCHD. “Our local hospitals provide care for individuals from outside our county, and McLean County residents may receive care outside of our county.”
McLean County added 25 new cases of coronavirus. There are 172 people in home isolation and the county’s rolling positivity rate inched up to 2.1%.
16 additional people were released from isolation, now 14,214 have recovered.
