BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department Friday reported 118 new cases of coronavirus as there are now 601 active cases.
There are 13 people currently hospitalized and the rest are in home isolation, according to MCHD Administrator Jessica McKnight.
MCHD has reported 480 new cases over the last week. An age breakdown of the cases:
- 1-17: 46
- 18-19: 51
- 20s: 170
- 30s: 50
- 40s: 48
- 50s: 45
- 60s: 29
- 70s: 25
- 80s: 9
- 90s: 7
McLean County’s rolling positivity rate inched up to 7.5%, still below the statewide rate of 9.1%, and Region 2’s rate which was 10.4% as of Thursday.
Local health officials said 36 additional people were released from isolation, now 4,198 have recovered.
There have been 39 COVID-related deaths in the county.
