BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police arrested two males in connection with a home invasion with a firearm.
On Tuesday, June 4, BPD was dispatched to the 1700 block of Salem Rd for a home invasion.
The male victim stated that two suspects had entered his apartment. One suspect pointed a gun at him and struck him with the gun. The two suspects left on foot after stealing an undisclosed amount of property. The victim had minor injuries.
On Friday, June 7, BPD Street Crimes Unit attempted to serve McLean County arrest warrants. The Street Crimes Unit arrested one male and the other male turned himself in later that day.
Teon Williams, 19, of Bloomington was arrested for home invasion with a firearm, armed robbery with a firearm, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Williams’ bond is $200,000, with $20,000 to be released.
Additionally, Lorenzo Aken, 20, of Bloomington was arrested for home invasion with a firearm, and armed robbery with a firearm. Aken’s bond is $200,000, with $20,000 to be released.
The investigation is ongoing, and no more information will be released at this time.
