KENOSHA, Wis. – Brady Rose matched a career high with 25 points and Illinois Wesleyan connected on 55 percent from the field in a 90-78 win over Carthage at Tarble Arena.
Andy Stempel added 17 points and team highs of eight assists and seven rebounds as the Titans forge a three-way tie for second place in the College Conference of Illinois and Winscosin (with Carthage and North Park) at 8-5. The Titans improve to 16-6 overall.
The first half saw 11 ties and nine lead changes as Keinan Baltimore’s reverse layup in the final seconds put Carthage up 43-42 at halftime.
Wesleyan pulled away late as back-to-back threes by Colin Bonnett and Rose put IWU up 82-70.
The Titans visit Wheaton on Wednesday.
IWU women
Ther Wesleyan women forced 22 turnovers in the first half and rolled to a lopsided 80-49 win over Carthage.

Rebekah Ehresman led the Titans with 16 points. Maddie Merritt added 15 as the Titans (16-6, 11-2 in CCIW) clinch a berth in the conference tournament.
