Mid Central Community Action has received a $20,000 grant from the Mary Kay Foundation to be used toward the agency’s Countering Domestic Violence program.
The agency reports the grant will be used to support domestic violence services including its 24-hour hotline, 24-hour shelter Neville House, legal and youth advocacy services and counseling and support programs.
Mid Central Community Action is one of seven agencies in Illinois to receive funding from the Mary Kay Foundation’s annual shelter grants program.
