Anthony Kelleher
Anthony M. “Tony” Kelleher, 59, of Chenoa, passed away at 1:40 a.m, Oct. 4 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center.
His funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Chenoa. Fr. Carl LoPresti will be officiating.
Cremation will be accorded following the services.
Visitation will be held from 4-8:00 p.m., Thursday, also at St. Joseph Catholic Church and 9-9:45 a.m., on Friday at the church.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or your local humane society.
Tony was born Feb. 23, 1957, in Fairbury the son of James Roger and Helen Myers Kelleher.
He married Michelle Phillips on June 8, 1991. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Derek (Leanna) Keist and his soon to be first grandchild; and Steven and Emily Kelleher all of Normal; siblings, Jim (Jean) Kelleher of Phoenix, Ariz., Deborah (Jeff) Jolly of Normal, Denise Kelleher of Chenoa, Joyce Kelleher of Chenoa; uncle and godfather, Steve (Sharon) Kelleher; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is also survived by his pets who he adored, Rocky, Simba and Baby.
Tony worked for Original Smith Printing from 1980-2014.
Tony was an avid Packers, White Sox, Golf and overall sports fanatic. He was a great chef and loved sharing everything he cooked with his family. We will miss his cheesecake.
He was also an advocate for organ donation and he was very thankful for being a recipient. He was a loving and unselfish father, husband, brother, and friend. Tony wasa hard worker in all aspects of his life.
We will all miss his infectious smile and sense of humor.
