NORMAL – Unit 5 officials have moved the site of the school board’s regular meeting on Wednesday to accommodate what’s expected to be a large turnout.
The school board will meet at Normal West High School at 7 p.m.
Parents are expected to attend the meeting to voice their concerns over the bus problems that have plagued the district in the first week of school. The district implemented a new bus schedule last week with a lighter fleet and many buses have been late and many more than been overcrowded.
Superintendent Mark Daniel has said it will take several days to get the problems resolved.
