FARMER CITY – DeWitt County Coroner Randy Rice and Illinois State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash near Farmer City early Tuesday.
Rice said the crash occurred in the early morning on westbound Interstate 74 near mile marker 160.
The sole occupant of the vehicle, a white male, was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:31 a.m. Rice has identified Grant Bennett, 45, of Bowling Green, Ky. died in the crash from multiple injuries sustained in the crash.
