BLOOMINGTON – A survey conducted by Country Financial shows that those in the current workforce feel unprepared for retirement.
The survey explains that 81 percent are worried about their level of preparedness, while 67 percent of people already in retirement feel satisfied with their situation.
Director of Wealth Management at Country Financial Troy Frerichs explained that there are many issues surrounding retirement that are prompting the current workforce to worry about their future.
“Basic living expenses are quoted a little bit as being something that is an issue, but not nearly as much as not having enough money to pay for the things they’d like,” said Frerichs.
With the current retirement age being between 65 and 70, it’s never too late to check to see how much is in your savings account.
