FARMER CITY – The Mayor of Farmer City is stepping down. Mike Jenkins announced his resignation on Facebook Friday night, effective immediately.
He was the mayor of Farmer City for five years.
The Farmer City council will appoint a new mayor, but the next meeting is in March.
