BLOOMINGTON – If you watched figure skating in the 90’s, you likely were a fan of Olympic Figure Skater Kristi Yamaguchi.
She won a gold medal and now is coming to Bloomington’s US Cellular Coliseum. The famous figure skater will be hosting “Shall We Dance On Ice” December 12th a show that will be taped live in Bloomington. It will air at a later date on the ABC television network. She tells WJBC’s Terry James her two daughters are not likely to follow in her footsteps.
“Well, Keara is not, not at all.” says Yamaguchi “She wants nothing to do with ice. Which is fine, which is great. The younger one Emma – she does skate. It’s a great activity for her. I’m not saying she’s going to be very competitive. It’s kind of still up in the air.”
Tickets are still on sale at the coliseum box office or Ticketmaster.
