Cory Small
Cory A. Small, 26, Fairbury, was pronounced dead at 5:15 p.m. Sep. 13 at the scene of a motorcycle minivan accident in rural Fairbury.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Randy Frantz officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. The family suggests memorials be given to the Cory Small Memorial Fund.
Cory was born Aug. 22, 1989 in Pontiac.
Survivors include his mother, Theresa (Barry) Chavez, Pontiac, adopted father, Daniel (Jennifer) Small, Strawn, maternal grandparents, Larry and Carolyn Carls, Fairbury, girl friend, Katelynn Dunn, Fairbury, two sisters, Kaleigh Small, Strawn, Katelyn Small, Gibson City, an aunt, Tammi (Michael) Kupferschmid, Forrest, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded by a sister, Karleigh Small.
Cory had been employed as a HVAC technician by Edelman Electric, Fairbury and he was a member of the Iron Rockets Motorcycle Club.
