Marjoie Byers
Marjorie H. Byers, 75, of Bloomington passed away at 11:48 a.m. Sep. 10 with her family by her side at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Her memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington. Rev. Brent Salm will officiate with inurnment to follow at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be 10:00-11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington. The family suggests memorials be made to the Community Cancer Center, Normal or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Arrangements are being handled by Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington. Marjorie was born Oct. 21, 1939 in Bloomington, the daughter of Charles and Helen Oleson Sawyer. She married Kenneth A. Byers on Oct. 21, 1957 in Bloomington. He survives.
Also Surviving are four children, Marty(Judy) Byers, Roseville, Minn., Floyd (Dana) Byers, Bloomington, Elizabeth Kay Byers, Bloomington, David Byers, Bloomington; eight grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; one brother, Elmer Sawyer.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
