VIRGINIA – Police have cancelled a LEAP Alert for a missing 16-year-old girl from Cass County in Central Illinois after she was reportedly found in Oklahoma.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported Mary Budrick of Virginia was last seen at 6 a.m. Tuesday and was reported missing later that morning.
Illinois State Police identified a suspect in Budrick’s disappearance. Russell Wade, 45, is described as a white male, 5-feet-11 and 180 pounds and has brown hair with hazel eyes. Police say the two might have taken off for Idaho.
Police reported early Wednesday Budrick has been located but have not issued any further details.
