Lois White

Lois I White, 93, of Normal passed away at 11:00 p.m. on Dec. 28 at the McLean County Nursing Home, Normal.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington. The Rev. Jim Gilroy will be officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Stanford. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington.

The family suggests memorials be made to Alzheimer’s Research or Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children Peoria Affiliate.

Lois was born Oct. 9, 1921 in Bloomington, the daughter of Oren and Anna “Ann” Size McReynolds. She married James “Franklin” White on Oct. 29, 1939 in Stanford. He passed away Sep. 11, 1993.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol ( Wayne ) Hilpert, Morton, Connie  Fleming, Dallas, Ore.; four grandchildren, Shelly (Greg) VanEtten, Morton, Stacy (Ryan) Koch, Fishers, Ind., Morgan (Sisily) Fleming, Salem, Ore., Allison Fleming, Portland, Ore.; five great grandchildren, Brittany and Taylor  VanEtten, Morton, Kenzi and Kaci Koch, Fishers, Ind., Toby Fleming, Salem, Ore.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Lois was an active member at the Stanford Christian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Lois was a loving, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
