BLOOMINGTON – Parents looking into the College Illinois savings program have a little more time to sign up.
The deadline for the current enrollment period has been extended through June 1. Student Assistance Commission Executive Director Eric Zarnikow says College Illinois lets you prepay your child’s future tuition costs at today’s prices.
“The plans, although they are tied to the state’s public universities and community colleges, you can actually use the plan at private schools in Illinois and private and public universities across the country,” Zarnikow said.
