Arrest made in weekend shooting in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON – A man is in custody following a shooting Sunday afternoon.

Bloomington police say 19-year-old Deontae Jordan of Bloomington was arrested Monday on a warrant for attempted murder, armed robbery, aggravated battery, and unlawful discharge of a firearm.

Police say a 26-year-old man was shot on West Washington near Howard Street at about 2 p.m. Sunday. Police say the injuries appear to be non-life threatening.

Police say there are no other suspects.
