WJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is again proud to present the High School Athletes of the Week.
Here are the winners for the week of Feb. 9, 2015:
Callie Francisco – Bloomington Bowling
Callie advanced to the sectional round by rolling a 954 at the Streator Regional. She becomes the first Bloomington bowler to advance to the sectional round since 2006.
Anthony Williamson – U-High Swimming
Anthony finished first in the 200 yard freestyle (1:47.85) and the 500 freestyle (5:05.40), and helped the 400 freestyle relay team (3:24.21) to a first-place finish as the Pioneers won the Byron Independent Championships.
