BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) — A person received significant injuries in a one-vehicle crash late Wednesday morning that closed down parts of South Center Street.
Officers with the Bloomington Police Department were called to the 600 block of Center just before 11:30 a.m., near the Huck’s gas station, on a report of a single vehicle crash, said Bryce Janssen, a police spokesman.
All traffic heading south on Center is being moved onto Olive Street, and westbound traffic on Oakland Avenue is being rerouted and is not able to turn south onto Center Street, Janssen said.
One person in the wreck received “significant injuries,” he said.
The cause of the wreck and the extent of the injuries are unknown at this time.
