NORMAL, Ill. – Throughout the FCS playoff run, Illinois State football fans, alumni and friends have gathered at watch parties around the state and country to cheer for the Redbirds. As the Redbirds advanced, more watch parties were held and the largest number yet has been announced for Saturday, Jan. 10, when the Redbirds play three-time defending national champion North Dakota State in Frisco, Texas, live on ESPN2 at Noon CST, in the 2015 NCAA Division I Football Championship Game.
Televisions at local bars and restaurants all over Bloomington-Normal will be tuned to the game, as the Redbirds seek to win their first FCS national championship in school history. Likewise, establishments around the state, and in all parts of the country, will be watching the action with fellow Redbird fans and supporters.
