Mary Williamson
Mary J. Williamson, 54, of rural Bloomington, died peacefully at 7:36 p.m. Dec. 6 at her home.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington. Her memorial service will follow the visitation at 12 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Funks Grove Cemetery, Funks Grove, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an education fund for her grandchildren.
She was born July 17, 1960 in Colorado Springs, Colo., a daughter of Charles and Darla Rogers Camp. She married Douglas D. Williamson on July 14, 1979 in Farmington.
Surviving are her husband, Doug, of rural Bloomington; three daughters, Amanda (Kris) Sheridan of rural Bloomington, Julie Williamson and Toni Williamson, both of Normal; her mother, Darla Camp of Farmington; six grandchildren, Haylee, Alexandra, Riley, Christopher, Lucas and Breslin; and a sister, Lynn Grant of Farmington.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Camp Sr.; and a brother, Charles Camp Jr.
Mary was employed as a cook at Illinois State University for many years. She enjoyed camping, boating and NASCAR. Mary was incredibly patriotic and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
