BLOOMINGTON – With warm weather and Easter this weekend, the McLean County Health Department is urging residents to be cautious as the fight against COVID-19 continues.
“We’ve been doing this for a little over a year now so we know what we need to do,” McLean County Health Department Administrator Jessica McKnight told WJBC’s Scott Miller. “We are just asking everybody do this a little longer because we start making progress and we want to keep going that way.”
The reminder comes as the county has seen a recent uptick in coronavirus cases.
McKnight says many people are still not vaccinated, so if you decide to gather the best way to do so is outdoors, maintain social distancing, and wear a mask.
