BLOOMINGTON – Two juveniles are in custody with connection to several cell phone store burglaries, including the Twin Cities.
The Bloomington Police Department started investigating after Normal Police were alerted to a cell phone store burglary. Police later found the Sprint Store on N. Veterans Parkway, Bloomington, had also been burglarized.
BPD, along with other local agencies, were able to track the stolen items to the juveniles who were also in possession of a stolen vehicle, according to a BPD statement. The vehicle was reported stolen by the Hazel Crest Police Department.
The juveniles are also linked to cell phone store burglaries in Normal and Urbana. No other information is being released at this time and the case remains under investigation.
