BLOOMINGTON – They have scored 43 No. 1 singles, including a record 21 in a row, and now legendary country music band Alabama brings its tour to Grossinger Motors Arena on Saturday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m.
From the cotton farms of Fort Payne, Alabama to the heights of the music industry, Alabama has sold 73 million albums worldwide while changing the face and sound of country music. Band members and cousins Randy, Jeff, and Teddy introduced rock style guitars, lights, pyrotechnics and sounds to the country audience.
They have won over 178 Country Music Association, Grammy, and Academy of Country Music awards. They’ve also earned 21 Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum albums and were named the RIAA’s “Country Group of the Century.” They are members of the Country Music Hall of Fame and have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
