PONTIAC – The Pointe at Pontiac is offering a Walking Club every Tuesday and Thursday from 9-11 a.m. for seniors who want to still be active during the cold winter months.
Regional Supervisor Peg Spear said there are multiple reasons to join.
“You get to walk in our warm and safe building. We have resting points throughout the building so there’s places for you to stop, take a break, and take it easy,” Spear explained. “And we’re also awarding prizes when you hit every 3,000 steps, so we’ve got that going on. And, always, at the end of your journey you’ll enjoy a nutritious snack and one of our assorted juices as well.”
The Pointe at Pontiac is located at 120 N. Deerfield Road.
