BLOOMINGTON – A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit over a motorcycle accident that happened more than four years ago near Lake Bloomington.
69 year old Douglas Peden of Bloomington was riding his motorcycle when it collided with an all-terrain vehicle driven by Michael Baker of Towanda.
Peden hit the back of the ATV, but said Baker should have had a slow moving vehicle sign on the back of his ATV.
Peden is now quadriplegic and is receiving two million dollars in a settlement with Baker.
Baker is not admitting fault.
