PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — More than 7,000 people are without power after storms rolled into the area Wednesday afternoon.
A majority of the outages are occurring in the northern part of Peoria County, with 2 outages affecting 800 or more customers each in Chillicothe, according to the Ameren Illinois outage map.
One of those outages in North Chillicothe reports 1,622 people without power, while another, closer to the central part of the city, reports 807 without power, according to the map.
Two more outages in Chillicothe at Three Sisters report more than 1,500 people without power.
West Hallock, just west of Chillicothe, has 891 people without power, according to the map.
Princeville is also experiencing large outages with Ameren reporting 672 people without power.
