BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) — Two people and several pets were displaced after a basement fire in a home on West Washington Street in Bloomington on Monday.
The Bloomington Fire Department responded to the fire Monday afternoon and had the fire under control within thirty minutes, according to a fire department Facebook post.
Firefighters located the fire in the home’s basement and contained the fire to that area. No injuries were reported during this incident.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
