MACKINAW, Ill. (WMBD) — The Tazewell County Coroner has released the name of the man killed in a Saturday wreck on Illinois Route 9.
Coroner Charles Hanley said Jefferey Foster, 62, of Armington, died from multiple blunt force injuries after the motorcycle he was driving was in a wreck with a truck.
Hanley said Foster was the only one on the motorcycle when the wreck occured.
Authorities were called at 6:18 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, on Illinois Route 9 near the intersection with Leopold Street, to a report of a wreck between a motorcycle and a car, Hanley said.
Foster was pronounced dead at the scene, Hanley said.
No further information was made available, and the cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
