BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) — The Miller Park Zoo announced that it will soon be celebrating its 135th anniversary.
A community party celebrating the anniversary will be held at 3 p.m. on June 6, according to a city of Bloomington news release.
The party will feature family-friendly games, activities and fun throughout the zoo. The celebration will all be included in regular admission, which is $9 for adults and $7 for kids aged 3 to 12 and seniors aged 60 and older.
Children aged 2 and under can enter for free. Parking is also free.
“Come celebrate 135 years of wildlife, conservation, education and memories at one of Bloomington’s favorite destinations,” the release said.
