CHILLICOTHE, Ill. (WMBD) — The Chillicothe Police Department arrested a woman on several drug charges on Tuesday.
Tammy L. Hoover, 56, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a Chillicothe police Facebook post.
Officers conducted a search warrant at a home near North Benedict and West Wilmont Streets to investigate the alleged illegal sale of methamphetamine and crack cocaine.
“All Chillicothe PD members involved did an excellent job bringing this situation to a safe resolution, and holding this individual accountable for her actions,” the post said.
Hoover has been sent to the Peoria County Jail.
