Central Illinois resident scores $1.45M playing Lucky Day Lotto

PEORIA – A Central Illinois resident is worth more than a million dollars after buying a jackpot-winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket.

The lucky player in Peoria Heights matched all five numbers to score more than a $1.45 million dollar prize.

The lucky Illinois Lottery player matched all five numbers, 2-4-22-36-42 to score the prize.

The individual, who has yet to claim the prize, bought the winning ticket at the BP Gas Station in Peoria Heights.

For selling the winning ticket, BP will receive a selling bonus of over $14,000.

The winner has one year to claim their prize.
